In this series, we’ll introduce you to different members of the Reggora family. This week features Jessica Fetterly, who joined Reggora in June of 2020 to lead the Tier 1 Support Team, handling frontline support to Reggora's clients and vendors.
Jessica Fetterly: Customer Support Team Lead
Q: Tell us about yourself. Where did you grow up? Go to school? What do you enjoy doing?
A: I grew up in Central Jersey (yes, it exists!) and currently reside at the shore. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with my BA in Organizational Communication. I love going on hikes, traveling, and within the past few years I’ve also started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. Martial arts is incredibly challenging, rewarding, and empowering, and learning these skills has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
Q: Where did you work before Reggora?
A: Before joining Reggora, I was working at an independent medical laboratory in Central Jersey. I was responsible for assisting our Sales Reps with client retention, as well as helping our development team develop our own CRM platform. Prior to working at the laboratory, I worked at an Appraisal Management Company as an Account Manager, with a few of our fellow Reggorians! I was responsible for overseeing the appraisal process from start to finish, as well as developing strong relationships with our clients and appraisers.
Q: Why did you join the Reggora team?
A: I loved working within the real estate appraisal space and was excited to jump back into it! I was referred by our Partnership Manager, Heidi Belnay, who I worked with back at the AMC. I was excited to both work with Heidi again, knowing the exceptional work she contributed at the AMC, and be a part of a company that was growing rapidly and drastically changing the industry.
Q: What do you do here at Reggora?
A: I am the Team Lead for our Tier 1 Support Team, which handles frontline support to our clients and vendors via phone, email, and chat, escalating to our Tier 2 Support Team as needed. I make sure that client and vendor inquiries are answered, provide additional platform training as needed, and ensure that the rest of the Tier 1 Support Team has all the resources they need. I also help build and improve our support processes to maximize our users’ support experience - our support flow is constantly evolving, and it’s exciting to be on the frontlines of these changes!
Q: What is something that has surprised you since joining the team?
A: I was nervous at first working for a fully remote company, having never worked remote before, but the Reggora team is so well connected and has honestly perfected the art of virtual communication! I never feel like I’m missing out on the office experience. Between the virtual happy hours, events, and clubs, I’ve developed amazing professional and interpersonal relationships, despite never having met the team in person. We’re scattered all over the country, but I never feel too far away from the rest of the team.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job or best part of being on the Reggora team?
A: The Reggora team is easily the most motivated and dedicated team I have ever been a part of. Everyone here is invested in the success of Reggora, and there is no shortage of helping hands when you need it. The Support Team in particular is an amazing team to be a part of, and is arguably the most fun team (ok, I may be biased). Everyone works hard, chips in where help is needed, and we have a good time while doing it.
Q: If you’re building your dream house with unlimited money, where are you building it and what are the best things about it?
A: My dream house is less of a house, and more of a dream property. It would be close enough to the ocean to drive, but with a large enough property for a hobby farm! I love farm animals and animals in general, so my dream is to own cows, chickens, goats, pigs, dogs - you name it! So obviously, the best part is fresh farm goods and unlimited company from the farm animals☺.
