The Opportunity
We're looking for a passionate and results-oriented Product Manager to join our Product team. You'll be the champion for the product, driving its strategy from ideation to launch and beyond. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and exceptional people skills.
In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, customer support, account management, and sales—as well as executive management—to ensure we’re building the right products.
Responsibilities
Vision and Strategy: Based on the goals we’re trying to accomplish as a company, it’s up to you to synthesize that and use feedback, research, stakeholders, and data to create a vision and strategy that will help your team execute on achieving those goals.
Set the Roadmap: Make sure your team has a clearly defined roadmap for at least one quarter. While it’s okay for roadmaps to be less defined as you look further out, having something in place helps provide clarity on what your team is striving toward. Leverage your team and stakeholders to help construct this roadmap, and communicate it (and results) frequently.
Delivery and Execution: In partnership with the engineering manager, remove blockers for your team and ensure product delivery is optimized. While you’re not directly responsible for engineers, you’re accountable for the results your team produces. Communicate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment as products are delivered. Constantly revisit and adjust your team’s goals as appropriate.
Go To Market: Work with the appropriate stakeholders to coordinate and construct go-to-market rollouts of new features, functionality, and general product improvements. Whenever your team produces a new feature or enhancement, ensure all relevant teams are aware of the launch schedule and timing to reduce confusion and ensure preparedness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building and delivering highly successful products.
- Experience synthesizing quantitative and qualitative feedback to guide the product roadmap.
- Attention to detail and the ability to obsess over every piece of information.
- Ability to seamlessly switch between solving immediate problems and maintaining a strategic, high-level perspective.
- Self-starter and autonomous executor.
